February 26, 2019. Manila Philippines – Bethel Music, the worship band behind the Christ-celebrating and widely popular praise and worship songs No Longer Slaves, Living Hope, Reckless Love, and Raise A Hallelujah will be in Manila for the Jesus Global Youth Day (JGYD) at the MOA Arena, August 8-10, 2019. This trending Christian artist collective will lead worship on Day 2 and Day 3, JGYD Main Session, 7pm-10pm.
Bethel Music was born organically as a worship ministry of Bethel Church in Redding, CA in 2001. The worship band has grown quickly since it became a record label and publishing company, taking its local church music ministry to a worldwide outreach featuring a team of songwriters and worship leaders, with both online and on-campus worship schools.
Bethel Music has six acclaimed albums that all went to the top of Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, in addition to four GMA Dove Awards and a GMA Covenant Award. Its multi-artist double-disc live recording Have It All (2016) hit No. 1 on the overall iTunes Albums chart and No. 6 on Billboard’s Top Albums chart, becoming its highest retail debut on the charts ever.
With the addition of Bethel Music, JGYD 2019 promises to be even more of a can’t-miss, must-see event for Christians of all ages and denominations. JGYD 2019 is the first-ever simultaneous youth gathering aimed at providing youth from all around the globe a life-changing opportunity to hear and discover God’s heart and calling for them. Bethel Music will be leading in worship together with other confirmed artists such as Lecrae, Austin Adamec, Miel San Marcos and Planetshakers.
For pastors, youth leaders, and life group leaders, JGYD is packed with different conferences, plenary talks, and trainings by world renowned speakers on various topics like leadership, evangelism and missions, worship, discipleship, and campus ministry. Some of the speakers include Nick Vujicic, evangelist and founder of the Life Without Limbs organization; Nick Hall, the visionary of Together, author of the book Reset, and founder and chief communicator for PULSE; Sadie Robertson, reality TV star and New York Times best-selling author.
Aside from being a worship band, Bethel Music aims to be a steward of the powerful worship being created and released at Bethel Church, making it a resource available to the world for all to experience and learn from.
